My poor baby....

Kynzi came in from playing outside and went running right into the kitchen table solid oak chair....the back of the chair got her going right down her left eye. it looked so bad after it happened. I took the pic about 30 minutes after it happened and I will take another pic tomorrow to see how bad it is. I watched her closely to see if I needed to take her to the hospital and she acted just fine after she calmed down. So here is the pic from tonight, the purple mark under her eye shows where the chair hit. Just draw a straight line up and down from that mark and that's how the chair hit her.....

10 years ago today....

My Great-Pawpaw passed away 10 years ago today. It doesn't seem like it's been 10 years, but at the same time it does. I thought I would share some pictures of him (not in any order). He served in WWII and was a Deacon at his church for many, many years. Him and my Great-granny had 8 living children and their oldest was my Granny. I miss and love him so much. I hope he's takin care of everyone up stairs.

I give up....

I'm tired of trying to get Kynzi not to eat SO much junk food! How can I do that when the other kids come over and eat ice cream at 11 at night???? It's not right! I said something and all I got was "well they haven't had any junk food all day". Yeah, so ya'll come over after 10p.m. and the kids get to eat ice cream this late at night? THAT'S NOT RIGHT! That's not respecting my rules for my daughter and when they get the junk food, then I'm stuck dealing with a temper-tantrum-throwing-3-year-old!

I'm sorry for the rant, but it upsets me that they do this every time they come over. It's not right to me or my daughter and I'm fixing to start stepping on some toes VERY soon. I'm tired of all the fit throwing I'm having to go through!

The kids were bouncing the dang basketball in the house and I asked them to stop and they did. I was the only one that EVEN said anything to them about it....so now I'm listening to "Momma" "Mooommmmaaaa" because of them being loud! GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Kynzi went out with Polly to pick peas in the garden and then this dirty and filthy child came back. I have know clue who this child belongs too, because my daughter don't like to get dirty!

My thoughts....

Ok....I'm warning who ever may be reading this. These are my thoughts on how someone around here is acting.

So, on with my thoughts. I'm sure everyone has realized I don't really like Wendy's sister, Lucy. Lucy turned 21 back in December and she's the baby out of the family. She married her high school sweetheart, bought a tailer, has multiple vehicles, and their first child was born in April. Since this year she has bought a new car because her old one was a 2 door car and she NEEDED a 4 door car with Jacob.....THOUGHT #1: Yeah right Lucy people raise kids all the time with a 2 door car...grow up.

She and Andy are behind on their bills and just had $3,000 added to it from having Jacob. They are making monthly payments on the past due amounts. THOUGHT #2: You should have used your income tax returns on the bills....not the dang car....STUPID MOVE Lucy.

Now they are wanting to have another baby before Jacob turns 2. Lets get a recap on the whole money part....behind on bills, wasted money on a new car, new prenatal care bills and the hospital bill, oh and the newest thing is Andy is losing his job Sept 7th. Sorry for that, hate it for you, but it happens every day to other people. The way I see it is, you still have your home and your not living with other people in THEIR home. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and grow up. Millions of people have lost their homes and everything else because of the economy. You still have your home, land, cars and still buying useless things everyday. I think you could have lived without that rocker today. I think everyone would agree that they need to just work on getting everything caught up, instead of boohooing to everyone, and stop thinking about having another baby till eveything is caught up and PLEASE GROW UP its not the end of the world!

No I haven't fallen off the face of the planet!!!!

Wow, it's been so busy around here since my last post. Around a week ago we went to Little Stoney's and played at the waterfall. Kynzi LOVED it this year! Last year we couldn't get her to willingly stick her toe in the water without screaming her head of....the water is very cold there and we thought it was that. The we went last week and she walked right into the water without crying or anything. She was splashing in the water....she LOVED it this time! Wendy stuck her toes in the water and said "ooooo thats cold" I laughed so hard at that!

The other day I walked off the porch and seen this in the yard....it's a Common Snapping Turtle and it was FREAKIN HUGE!!!!!! In the pictures it's in a 30 gallon tote and it took up a good half if not more of the bottom in length!!!! We let it go down by the creek (no where close to our property) so hopefully we wont see it again.

Well there's been a new addition to the family here in Virginia. On June 1st Ceegan Finn was born 9 weeks early. He weighed 3lbs. 15oz. Ceegan is doing good just gotta get him to maintaining his temp and get the whole sucking thing down and he can go home. So far his breathing is excellent!

Kynzi got a chair so she could get into the candy and Lucy bein Lucy asked her, "Sissy what are you into"? OMG can I say STUPID!!!! What 2 year old will tell you what they are getting into? For one my daughter don't, so why waste your energy trying to get her to answer?

Cute/Weird Convo's With A 2 Year Old

Ok so we were waiting at Arby's today for the car in front of us, in the drive through, to put in their order and sissy told me what she wanted:

Sissy: I want burger
Me: ok a burger
Sissy: cheese, fries
Sissy: doggie
Sissy: Paddy

Ok so for ya'll who's wondering what she means by doggie, paddy; Wendy has been asking her every time we go to Pal's (burger place) if she wants a doggie to eat, as in the big hot dog on top of the place. Well today she actually named a dog she wanted....poor Paddy!

I told Wendy about what sissy said after she got off work and she just rolled when I told her. I told her "yeah, you're gonna think it's funny when your dog has to have stitches because sissy bit the crap outta her" and she peplied "what's sad is Paddy would let her do it"! Paddy has such a sweet temperment with kynzi, that I feel so sorry for the dog!

I finally made it to my 50th post!!! Wow it took me a while to make it to #50! I figured I would wait till today to post because as you can tell I have another new layout! Mam-maw got her some flash cards today that teach colors and shapes. Wendy and I were askin her if she was going to go to school next year and she informed us that she has to shoot and eat a deer first! Then she told us she needed a knife....so she could gutt the deer. My kid is so strange...she has to shoot, gutt and skin, and eat a deer before she can go to school!

I just got off of work and thought I would post on here. Not much is going on really, oh I did get those 2 outfits in and can I say OMG THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!! Update

Not much has been going on lately. A while back I bought Kynzi a high back booster seat. Well I finally put her in it the other day and she is big enough now! It's so sad, I think! I have 2 outfits coming in the mail and they are SOOOOO cute! I got them from http://www.sophiasstyle.com/ I love the clothes that they offer. If you check them out, I strongly recommend that you short the clothes by price lowest to highest.

We are leaving to go to Oklahoma April 2nd and we will be there till May 14th! I'm so excited and I can't wait. We will be there for Easter, Kynzi's 3rd birthday, and Mother's Day! But that's all for now I'll post some more later....Laters!!!!

Time Sure Does Fly

I was sitting here thinking that time does fly by fast. Kynzi is close to being 34 months old! She has only 2 months and 18 days till her 3rd birthday! It seems like only yesterday I was trying not to have her early, now she's almost 3! She's gotten so big, she's wearing 3t-4t pants and 3t-5t shirts. She's now in a size 9-10 shoe, depending on how they are made. Last time she was measured she was 37" tall and she weighs 32 lbs. now! Where has my little baby gone?!? Was That EVEN My Child Today??

Today Kynzi got her very first haircut! I had her hair barely trimmed and slightly layered today. She sat so still and didn't put up a fuss at all!!! She watched what was going on in the mirror and only turned her head once. When we go to fix her hair she turns her head this way and that way and fusses! She also let the woman use the curling iron to put a few curls in her hair! Her hair was so cute till the wind got a hold of it after we left so no pictures, but maybe she will let me fix it. I can't even tell its been cut at all so that is very good. maybe I should get it cut every few months so hopefully it will thicken up.

is so weird! We went to play in the 3 inches of snow we got yesterday and well...she was fine till she feel down then she only wanted to go inside! She hates the snow now and if you ask her if she wants to go play in the snow she shakes her head and says "uh uh"! We are supposed to get another 6 inches tonight! IT'S CRAZY! I wasn't able to make it to work because our driveway is icey and I wasn't gonna drive on the ice! Wal-mart can live without someone in men's wear! But thats all for now! Laters!

College

Ok I'm staying in school....I decided that I'm not geting to let all of this let me quit, yet again. So in 26 months I will have a ba in web design! YAY!

Updates....

Ok here are the recent updates from the east cost. You know the saying, when it rains it pours right? Well, it still holds true! IT HAS BEEN RAINING FOR 2 WEEKS NOW!!!!! I'm so sick of rain right now!

Next update...I'm dropping out of school, at least for a semester while Wendy and I work on getting our house. The Financial Aid changed me from Independant to Dependent! Which is a bunch of bs! They said they did that because I don't pay half the household bills.....ok here is the list of bills:
Rent: house is paid off, $0 rent
Electric: $306
Water: we have well water, $0 for water
Gas: everything is electric, $0 gas
Food: $300 average a month
Medical: $119 is their Medical Insurance
Satilite: $140, I never watch the thing
Phone: $150, including my part
Car: $546, does not include our car

Here is what I pay:
Electric: $50, I'm always at work or asleep, don't use much!
Food: $50, hardly eat at the house, most goes for Kynzi's food
Phone: $50, for the calls I make that are long distance

So I pay $150 a month, buy everything for my daughter; clothes, shoes, wipes, food, EVERYTHING! But yet they changed me to dependent....answer this. How the hell am I a dependent student and all my family lives in Oklahoma? They don't send money up here to support me, I do everything on my own! The only thing my mom has helped with was the trip to Oklahoma for 3 weeks, thats the ONLY thing she's paid for since I've been up here because that is all that I've asked for and she wanted to pay it. She's sent me money for Christmas as gifts for me and Kynzi, thank you mom Kynzi Liked everything! But yet I'm a dependent student.

The craziest part of this is when you have a child that you support 50% or more, you are supposed to be automatically a independent student, NO MATTER WHAT!

Ok I'm done venting. I promise.

The other update is Kynzi is going to the potty regularly now. YAY! We stopped buying pull-ups after we ran out because she needs to learn being wet isn't good. Oh and the other day Kynzi, Wendy and I were sitting at the kitchen table and Kynzi grabs the jelly jar and was holding it. Well I took it and sat it back on the table and told her she didn't need jelly. She grabs it back and hollars very seriously "But I need jelly!" We all cracked up laughing, including Kynzi, and she didn't even know what we were laughing at! But those are the only updates I have for now. Laters!

New Hobby!

Ok guys...I'm officially kicking off the start of my new hobby! I've been making hairbows since before Thanksgiving and I finally have enough to start puttin them up for sale. I'm sending out the first order tomorrow, so Sandy I'll let you know when you will get them in the mail...I hope the girls like them!

Christmas 2008

Ok here is how our Christmas has been so far. Kynzi woke up at 9 a.m. this morning and all we heard was mom, mam-maw, table over and over. Santa left a tinkerbell table and chair set in her room last night. So then we all went in the living room and she had a elmo resturaunt, a play stroller set, an aqua doodle (which Santa forgot to put the pen in the box, has to be returned to Santa), a mega blocks set, and a pots and pans set. Then after she played with the toys Santa left, we opened presents! She opened all the presents but 1. We'll open that one later when everyone else gets here. Kynzi got alot of clothes and toys and a coat. But workin on puttin all the pictures and videos into one video. That will be posted tonight, so I can make sure I include everything in it from today! I hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Counter to D's Letter to Santa...

Dear Santa,

Here is my letter to you....better late than never, right?

FORGET Peace on Earth...Just give us a damn president that ain't in it to help the rich people, or to lie to us...Let Obama be in it for the poor people and let him not be a damn lier!

Forget the men....they are nothing but a headache!

Please let all the kids behave for a day for their parents!

Sanity...we are gettin the short end of the stick on sanity!

If D gets the million dollars I just want, oh lets say, $15,000 to $20,000 to pay off debt so we can move to Oklahoma!

I just want a car!

Can I just spend a day being a kid again? Just for 24 hours! PLEEEAAASSSEEE!!!

I just want a home!!! 3 bdrm 2 bth would SO work!

I want to work less hours and still get paid for 40 hours each week so I can actually get more sleep!!!

Christmas is coming.....

FAST! Christmas is so close it ain't even funny! I got all the shopping done...THANK GOD! Days of staying late at work after I got off and getting home at 1 a.m., paid off. All the gifts are bought! I did shopping for Kynzi, from 2 other people besides me! I think I did good though. I think she will love everything that she is getting though. Here is what was bought from the money everyone sent me:

Nana: 1 Christmas p.j. set, 1 Tinker Bell p.j. set, 2 sleepers, 1 skirt, 2 pairs of winter tights (the thick kind), 1 Fisher-Price Elmo's Restaurant, 1 26-piece set of pots & pan's, 120-piece fake food, 1 aqua doodle, 2 shirts, 1 pair of pants, 2 sweater jackets, 1 doll to start a collection of dolls from around the world....I think that is it (doing this from memory).

Grandma Lisa: 1 pair of dress shoes, 1 pair of winter tights, a play diaper bag set

Paw-paw: a coat

Then me and Wendy got her a Tinker Bell table and chair set, a baby doll set, a graco stroller set that includes a playpen, a set of Tinker Bell p.j. set, and a few other things I can't remember at this moment.

Polly went and had Kynzi's pictures taken for Christmas, the are a few posts down.

We drew names this year and the kids had their own drawing, Matthew got Kynzi's name and he got her a twin baby doll set. That makes 4 baby dolls she is getting this year!

Mam-maw and Pap-paw got her a baby doll that she has already stole from the closet and opened herself, so she got that early, a block set (like lego's but bigger), and a telelphone I think.

Christmas is going to be a good one, I was sweating it since I didn't have a job from September 17th-December 4th.

AGGRAVATION....

Ok, so we are cutting out most of the "JUNK" food that Kynzi eats every day. Well it wouldn't be so bad if the other kids would actually eat REAL food before the junk food when they come over. Kynzi threw a HUGE fit tonight because all the other kids had popcicles and she didn't. Kynzi has been eating junk and not wanting to eat food food when its time to eat, so say good bye to junk food!

I'm ALMOST done with my Christmas Shopping!! YAY I have only one thing left, besides buying stuff for her with the money mom is sending for our Christmas. I have to work the 24th and the 26th, but I do have Christmas day off, so I can't make it to Oklahoma for Christmas. Go FREAKIN figure, everyone else is getting together and I can't make it in. Watch, next year no one will do anything and I might make it in, that would be my luck. Well time to get in bed. Laters.

I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!!

I got up a little while ago, wendy had to be at work, and checked my email. There in my inbox for the past day has sat my acceptance letter from the college!!!! So now I am enrolled in visual communications for my associateof arts in business administration (aaba) degree, which is gonna cost $20,430, after I finish that in 13 months I will start the web design progam for my bachelor of fine arts in visual communication (bfa) and that is gonna be another 13 months and another $32,490! That is a grand total of $52,920!!! I pretty sure I'm gonna a LOT of student loans to pay back when I graduate! But at least I got accepted!!!
